Deoneth felt Tremaith's gratitude but did not reply, not yet, keeping close watch on her rider still. She knew that Hers wouldn't go to extents that were forbidden to them as yet, but she felt slightly nervous as this interlude still proceeded. She knew of what her Mine would do, but she was not even slightly reassured by Tremaith's.
You have been a great help in this and to me. Thank you, Tremaith, especially for alerting me to the situation. Deoneth got the benedictions over quickly, back to monitoring the blond girl.
Salina sighed once more, eyes holding some of the regret that the situation inspired. It would have been interesting to see what might have happened and she knew innately that she would wonder. She was finding that there was a disadvantage to her rather glorious situation and it was this-the limitations she had not found so opposing before were suddenly stifling her with their intensity.
She let herself be pressed all the closer to Z'dayi, arms linking behind his neck as eyes slid closed to the sensation of his face buried against her skin. "Yes," she agreed. "Much too soon, by far." The next part of his sentence caught her off guard-pick up in a few months? She was willing to do so, but had not realized he would. She smiled to herself, fingers rising to tangle in his own blond curls. "Yes, we will."
She laughed lightly, giving him a light hug in their compromising entanglement, the sound tinged briefly with her sarcasm as she let her chin rest on his head, feeling soft tingles from the kiss to her neck. "Mmm. I probably could as well, I think."
Their tableau was over and then what? Back to the chore they'd neglected or as they parted, I'dalyn would come stalking in to chew them out for such laziness? She found equal horror in both scenes.
