H’gar was not amused by the comment made by the younger brownrider. Easy, H’gar. He just wants to rile you. Do not let him. He scowled at the young man, but didn’t say anything. His normal easy demeanor coupled with the calm from Baristath allowed him to just let it go.
“You’re going to die young, man,” H’gar said with a smile. “Those of us that conserve our strength live to be old enough to enjoy the fruits of our labors.” He waved one hand towards the young women and grinned. “Don’t let me keep you, D’ray. If you’ve got a hunt to attend to I’ll be fine seeking my own entertainment.”

"Die a life worth living", D'ray said with a grin. Death didn't seem to be much of a bother to him either. Not many things did seem to bother D'ray, not outwardly anyway. He was perhaps more carefree than normal. Well, D'ray wasn't normal anyway. "I'll die one day, but I'll have died enjoying life", D'ray answered him cheerfully. Oh how odd that seemed, being so happy when talking of death.
D'ray only tipped his head to the brownrider. "I'd have hate to have left you high and dry, but since you put it that way", D'ray trailed off then started walking towards the girls. He looked back at the brownrider with a wink the continued on, catching up with the lovely pair to converse and charm. Ah how life flowed for D'ray, off one point and onto another.

H’gar could only chuckle at the other brownrider. His amiable smile remained in place while D’ray talked and when he took his leave the older man chuckled. “Enjoy,” he said with a jaunty salute. H’gar strolled away from the Caminar and back towards the Weyr proper. Enough wandering around. He’d heard about a card game he could probably get in to and he finally had some marks saved up to test a new system.
