Distracted as she was by the sight his hand could wander as it would while she continued to be transfixed by what she saw. “No, this is more beautiful than anything else. I’ve never seen anything like it.” So taken by it was Genet she didn’t even notice Silvio had moved or that she’d easily settled back against him until she felt his kiss. “Silvio,” she teased in a low inviting voice, “Whatever are you doing?” As if she didn’t know. As if she hadn’t agreed to this walk just because of what they were both thinking. Maybe they couldn’t go as far as they wanted, but she was pretty sure they could go somewhere. A few steps forward shouldn’t be so bad. At least that was her theory right now.

"Amazing what nature can do, eh?" Silvio said, still in that low down voice. "But you're the most amazing of all, to me," he continued, the words just kind of spilling out of him like he was helpless to stop, even if the sentiments were hopelessly cheesy. He dropped another kiss just behind her ear, drew the lobe into his mouth, definitely pushing the lines. Definitely. Of course his hands were wandering too, loosening a button or two on her coat and slipping beneath the warm wool. "I love you," he told her earnestly in spite of all the naughtiness his fingers were currently bidding to perpetuate.

Cheesy or not they had the desired effect on Genet. Between the view and his words, and let’s not forget the hands, Genet was utterly wrapped up in the moment. When she finally found words they came out in a stutter, “Flatterer.” One word that carried no farther than the both of them. Plus one back in the barracks who was not so sleepy as she was before. Genet? What is going on now? Are you still walking? Genet internalized her groan, but doesn’t try to stop anything just yet. Push the limits or you’re dull. See how far you can step over a line or there’s no point being alive.
Just walking, Annie. See? Isn’t it lovely? She shared the view with the green in the barracks hoping it would distract her for a little bit. If the green was distracted she could continue to be distracted by the man she came out here with. “You should stop,” she whispers to him in a voice that is not asking for that in the least.

Eager, but not over-eager hands, skirting on the edges of doing just a little too much. That mouth of his too, and though he might not remember learning her skin before, it might seem he still knows somehow, what he learned and yet didn't. Silvio only smiled into the warmth of Genet's neck and kissed her again.
Unaware of Anquilith's questioning, and out in the night with no prying eyes around, Silvio was more than tempted to push the limits. Until he heard stop and even with the longing in her voice his head lifted and his hands stilled. His mouth sought hers, channeling all the pent up frustration of waiting into it then he drew back a little. "Better button you back up and keep walking then," he said just a little hoarsely and suited actions to words, offering her his arm /oh/ so politely.

When he stopped she wanted to scream in frustration at the night. This was so not fair. She tried to console herself with the knowledge he wasn’t leaving. They would have time enough soon. None of those thoughts stilled what she wanted now however and Genet was not the patient sort. His kiss was returned with heat enough to melt the frozen water he had brought her out to see and it left her trembling as he buttoned her coat. “Silvio, I-,” she began as he offered his arm. Whatever her words she held them back and took his arm in hers. Playing at polite like what just happened never did and like any touch from him wasn’t likely to send her closer to deciding to take her chances. Finally, feeling dumb even as she said it, she told him, “It’s a lovely night.”

His eyes sought hers out even in the deepening dusk, even as she took his arm and spoke polite words that belied what lay between them. Silvio lifted his hand up to her cheek, bare-palmed. Somewhere in the shuffle he'd taken his gloves off and his fingertips traced the lines of her face lightly, gently. "Very lovely," he said softly, unclear about whether he was talking about the night, or her. "And I'm sorry, I shouldn't tease you when I know we have to wait."

“You shouldn’t,” she agreed quickly when he apologized. “But if you stopped I’d never speak to you again.” Genet knew she was being too forward with him. If her parents had any idea how their youngest daughter was behaving they’d be mortified. Sadly, she thought, they have no idea. It was that thought in her mind when she stopped walking and turned to look at Silvio again. “You wouldn’t want that would you?” was asked of him in a low voice. “Because if I weren’t speaking to you what reason would we even have to walk out together?” The question was placed between them in that small amount of space separating her from him. It wasn’t a wise move throwing down that gauntlet at this time, but she would not be deterred from doing so. She was convinced she could stop no matter what they might start so why not prove it?

"You wouldn't?" Silvio blinked in surprise and paused as she did, turned towards him. "And uh - no wouldn't want that to happen, not at all," he answered, tone shifting from surprise to something low and intimate as his fingers slipped into her hair, his hand to the back of her head as he drew her near for another heated kiss. Buttons he'd only just done back up were popped in rapid succession, followed by something more dangerous: slightly chilled fingers untucking her shirt, sliding up the bare skin of her back under both shirt and coat.

There was no need for further words from her right now. Genet’s meaning had been clear enough that he had understood and soon they were both doing what they wanted. If the weyrling was not entirely wrapped up in his kiss and his hands he would surely understand it was because a part of her had to keep listen out for Anquilith. Anquilith who had been near to sleep before these new activities spiked the emotions of her rider and woke her up more fully. Curled on her couch with her tail nearly up over her nose the green listened and waited. Waited through the first shock of cool fingers on skin until she might tug at her rider’s thoughts to try to keep her in line.
Rather than have the desired effect the little reminder from Anquilith only made Genet want what she couldn’t have more. Between kisses she says, “If it were warmer I’d have likely thrown you to the ground to have my way with you by now.” Truth, or close enough to it to be labeled so. Anquilith or not it was only the cold Telgar winter that saved Genet from getting too out of hand.

Naughty, naughty, naughty fingers a-wandering and Silvio very wrapped up in Genet and not really wanting to think about stopping. Those words? Not helping as he swallows hard and dips his forehead down to touch against hers lightly. "There's a tree over there," he suggests helpfully, or not-so, as the case may be. "Or the wagon. If you think it'd be all right. I don't want to get you in trouble with Anquilith or worse, the Weyrlingmaster," the Caminar murmurs, voice torn right down the middle between longing and responsibility.

The words were not helpful at all. Neither were the fingers that spread heat throughout her as they continued to roam her back. “For shame” Genet whispered in a voice turned hoarse from denied desire. “Do you really think I am the kind of girl who would just have her way with a man because he points out a helpfully located tree?” Oh, right. Of course he’d think her that kind of girl considering how they were wrapped around each other with no one else in sight.
But Anquilith is around even if not in sight and she makes her demands to Genet in no uncertain terms. “Faranth take the weyrlingmaster,” Genet says with a chuckle that does not conceal how much she still very much wants to continue. Her sigh comes before her next words, but after a lingering kiss. “But Anquilith is still unsure. Just a few more months.” She wasn’t sure how long they would have to wait, but surely it couldn’t be more than a few more months? She was going to die if that was the case.
“We should be heading back,” was whispered into his ear after she laid a trail of kisses up his neck to his ear. “I’m so glad you’re staying longer. I would have missed you.” It was not the declarations of love he gave her, but it was heartfelt and true.

"I think you want me just as much as I want you," Silvio answered that hoarse statement with one of his own, "tree or no tree," and there was at least humor back in his voice. That kiss bid fair to make him incautious again as his fingers trailed up her spine one more time. Her words though, sent them slipping away to tuck her shirt back in a little sloppily. "If Anquilith is the one objecting, nothing more need be said though," he assured her and took several deep breaths, to drive back the flush in his cheeks.
He made a little sound in the back of his throat as her lips found his neck and his hands balled up in her shirt, hard enough that the fabric protested a little. He had to force his fingers loose and drew his palms up to cup her face in both hands. "Me too," he answered simply then leaned down to kiss her forehead, not her lips and once again buttoned up her coat carefully, smoothed down the lapels and smiled at her sweetly, mischief dancing in his eyes again. "May I walk you home, Genet?"

“I think I want you more,” Genet teased like it was some sort of contest. But she did not stop him from tucking in her shirt or buttoning up her coat. He was right as was Anquilith. There was nothing to be done for it but comply and stop that line of action before someone got hurt. When she was buttoned up again, after he’d offered to walk her home, she leaned in for kiss on his jaw near his ear. “I’m going to be better than anyone you’ve ever been with,” she promised boldly before pulling away and taking his hand in hers.
Big words considering she’s never done anything before. Boastful for sure, but how was he to know she had already learned what he liked and knew just how to send him over the edge? Was it fair? No, but nothing was fair and it’s not like she expected him to complain. “Maybe we better walk inside the bowl from now on,” she said with a laugh.

"Are we competing for who wants to tear clothes of the most?" Silvio teased her, eyes dancing all the more though that kiss made his eyes close and he looked up at the sky. "Think about snow, Silvio, /cold/ snow." And he winked over at her than burst out laughing again, fingers lacing through Genet's. "Somehow, I uh -- don't doubt that," he said with a slightly bemused expression and walked along back towards the Weyr not too slow, not too fast.
"If we only walk in the Bowl, then I'm in danger of you never speaking to me again, we'll just have to trust each other to take care of your green, right?"

“Silvio,” Genet says in a sly voice as she bumps his hip with hers. “If I were easy it’d be no fun. Surely you’re not going to give up so easily?” Because how much fun would that be? “No, no. My honor demands we only walk out in the bowl together from now on.” The pace he set was good enough for her and she was quiet a moment, staring up overhead, before she said, “You are hardly the man I thought you were if you’d let a little thing like other people possibly being around stop you from sharing your affections with me.”
She wanted to make a joke about the snow. Something about warming him up if he kept thinking cold thoughts, but she could still feel how close she’d come to losing the distance she needed to maintain to stay out of trouble. The words died unsaid but she stored them away in case another opportunity arose. Instead she said, “When Anquilith and I can go you’ll take me to the beach right? Just us? Your sister wants to come with us and bring G’tet, but the first time we go it’ll just be us, right? Promise?” Because she didn’t want to share.
