There wasn't much more to say for Anayeli. She stripped beds, she collected linens, she was escorted off to wash them. It was going to be a long series of chores, but at least it kept her out of harm's way. Where she could fume. By herself. Her dragon was only marginally more useful, assuring Baristath that she was feeling just fine, that Anayeli wasn't suffering from any particular malady-- just utter confusion.
.--.
Z'dayi, outside, gave Ez'ki a "look" that was meant to imply his disinterest and pointed distance from himself and the bluerider. He followed it up with a clipped, "Count me out. I ain't gettin' involved in whatever you just 'figured out.'" To put power behind his words, he even jogged a little faster: he would rather be running laps than contributing this mystery.

Salina almost thanked the heavens. Z'dayi actually listening to her? It was a miracle certainly. The little weyrwoman stretched her legs to their limits to keep up with the longer strides of Z'dayi, when Ez'ki joined them. Another miracle and most certainly not of the minor sort.
The goldrider sent a look to Ez'ki and sighed. "It's probably just a coincidence, Ez. We'll think of it later, 'kay? Right now, we just have to be good and listen. Good behavior, boys. It gets you farther than anything else."
She picked up the pace a little, encouraging the bluerider to follow. They were going just fast enough that idle chatter wouldn't be encouraged. Salina was trying to set an example now. Everyone was harping after her to do so. And she wanted to. She did. So she would, and get the two boys to follow. Her friends were the troublemakers. She didn't want them to hold the title any longer, not when wings were already looking for recruitments.

Was he the only on who had remained the same? Wa he the only one out of them all who was willing to do what he felt right? He shrugged as he ran - so it barely noticed, "No fowl no harm done eh Z'dayi?" Z'dayi dismissed him very off handedly. Exacerbated with it all, he shook his head, lengthened his stride to fall in with the rest of them. "Perhaps it is a coincidence." He shook his head, but there was a niggling feeling in the back of his mind about it. Something that was just a mysterious answer, and left the question untold. The result was the returning of the riders, and the sudden impression of two female weyrlings. "Fine, I'll play along with this H'gar - who ever he is. I don't like the way he refuses to listen to us." I shall talk with I'dalyn. Ez'ki thought silently as he began to concentrate upon the noise of his footfalls. Resolute in his conclusion. The young former weyrlingmaster, would surely help him. He smirked over to Sassie, "That it might. But it doesn't always take you on the right track."
