T'rad could only shake his head, as if in defeat. He looked up and over at Z'dayi. "We'll find out just how that luck is soon, I guess", it was said with a sigh, though T'rad couldn't help but have a small hint of humor or amusement in his tone. At the moment, luck was a matter of perspective. But, this could easily change from one end of the spectrum to another as events played out. But for now, with three girls nearby and Z'dayi and Ez'ki around, he had no choice but to engage them in a certain manner. He would have much preferred watching from afar, like K'mar was apparently doing but even the brownrider seemed smart enough to see an opportunity to leave. With T'rad in the middle of things, that was impossible now.
Calm down, T'rad. This is fun. The blue sounded as cheerful as ever, seeming to enjoy the situation. T'rad still couldn't help but be amused that such an easily entertained blue dragonet had such a bold, defined tone. Paleoth was certainly an interesting one. Hm. Perhaps you are right. T'rad may run off if a woman comes on too strongly. He seems a bit skiddish around them. Paleoth had turned his attention back to his fellow blue companion to answer him, not at all shy to embarrass his rider though perhaps unknowingly.
"Yeah, perfect timing", T'rad said with a roll of his eyes, answering Ez'ki. He could tell there was going to be fun to be had at his expense. Well, nothing to do now but interact. He had watched enough actions and conversations between the opposite sex before in the weyrbowl and other places, so perhaps he could put his own theories into action. No, not even looking at it as a new area to explore wouldn't push T'rad head first into any situation like this willingly.
T'rad decided he'd have to do something though. The two weyrlings would surely pressure him to make some kind of move, but perhaps acting on his own could surprise and throw them off and maybe they wouldn't make any requirements of him. T'rad gave a somewhat awkward smile and waved at the girls. Wait, all that thinking and that's what he came up with? The bluerider weyrling wanted to slap his forehead, but didn't. T'rad definentlly needed some work.

Three girls? Three girls was three times as awesome!
Z'dayi cleared his throat meticulously, sought to get the oh-my-gosh-girls look off his face before the trio could surprise his lack of cool. Being a weyrling was really taking its toll on the man. Seriously. Hard core. "Ladies," was his oh-so-suave greeting, his chin dipped, his smile lit, his arms folded casually while he watched them like he was about ready to take a bite out of one of them-- or all three. Preferably all three.
"D'you know our friend T'rad here?" he added helpfully, reaching that same hand to grasp the bluerider by the shoulder like he might physically thrust the kid into the fray.

Irina sighed and stopped for the two other girls, running her fingers through her hair impatiently, those eyes sliding back to the rather delicious selection of boys she was faced with. Smirk widened as she turned to look at Jala and Dsura, brows raised. She took Dsura's hand, giving it a light squeeze while sending a bolstering smile to Jala.
Why did the girl worry? They couldn't get in trouble, not unless they did anything wrong and they weren't going to cross that rather bold line, were they? No, no they weren't. They were just going to have a little fun. Just a little fun and be on their way.
The ringleader of the group of women sent her companions a look that clearly said follow my lead and sauntered forward, hips swaying lightly from side to side. She reached the boys and smiled, just a taunting curve of lips. Mmm. They were rather fine. Gaze slid over to the blond one and her lips pulled wider, suggestively as eyes swept over him slowly, down and back up.
"T'rad? No," she purred. She turned her attentions to the bluerider, head tilting slightly. "I don't believe so." Gaze flickered to the red head among the boys and she felt a delicious crawl in her belly. Oh yes, fine. They were all fine. "I'm Irina." She decided to play with the most of forward of the weyrlings, brushing against his side as eyes met his. "What are your names?"

Dsura smiled, warm, hearty, Jala slowed her pace, taking a step half diagonal, trying to stop her eyes from gawking out. Shards but these boys were forwards. She watched from the safety of behind the two older girls. Irina and Dsura, the pair had almost raised her, she had been orphaned at the weyr a long time ago, and these two – though they were her only friends throughout pern, and the only ones she cherished, they were far braver than her. Her willowy form, and blond hair, shy disposition, all screamed meek.
Dsura, on the other hand, was far more confident, but even with the males presented before her she could not help but be a little nervous, she played with one of the ends of her hair idly – then realising what she was doing flicked it behind her shoulder. The dark colour looking almost brown as it rippled in the sun’s light.
“I have seen him around.” She smiled it was warm, but not particularly interested. Dsura was around T’rad’s height, but then he was the shortest of the three before her. She smirked up at the other two.
Jala – again – far more reserved, smiled at the greeting given by the two males eyes darting from each of them to the next. One, tall, flaming red hair, pretty, and yes pretty, not particularly handsome, but very striking. Another, similar height, aka – towering to her short body, blond, lovely eyes, far more ‘rugged’ than the other, and the smallest of them (but still not short) was this one, the aforementioned had introduced as T’rad. He was a little less gung-ho by the seeming of things.
Dsura shook her head, she could see where Irina had her attentions, the pretty one. Shards but that girl could pick the one labelled ‘trouble’ from a goldslength away whilst blindfolded. She shook her head, laughed lightly – though the boys wouldn’t see this as to odd, Irina would get the picture. But as Irina gifted the boys her name Dsura felt she should really do the same. “I’m Dsura.” She didn’t introduce Jala, Jala instead remained wide-eyed behind the two girls, as though she was hoping they would forget, or select not to see her.
Ez’ki.
He smirked, trying to resist laughter at the incompetency of his companions, his challenge – denied as it was – by K’mar forgotten for this moment anyway, for after all, they were in company now. And suave, perfectly groom Ez’ki would not let his side down. He gave a shallow bow, eyes never wavering from t he one who was seemingly their ringleader. “Well you have time to learn it; for T’rad will be a greater man than most.” He smirked, “Obviously excluding his current company.” Words added playfully, no malice, but what were they? But riders to be? Why shouldn’t they play on that? He grinned. Devilment in his eyes. “Irina?” He repeated, “A strong name, not usually one for a girl, but it gives you character.” He winked, “This,” He presented towards Z’dayi, “Is our bronze weyrling, Z’dayi, You’ve met our young friend, and blue rider-to-be – T’rad, and I” He shrugged false humility placed in this, “am naught but weyrling of the blue Xyruth, that you can see. Ez’ki.” He introduced Xyruth as he did so, infact before himself, for it gave a sense that he put his dragon first, in all manner. Which to most extent was true, but it wasn’t something usually he advertised.
Ez’ki tends to be over confident in most everything he does, but he feigns. Perhaps yours can feign to? The blue suggested to Paleoth. He looked up at the females, as he was introduced by his bonded, pride and grace filled him as he flicked his wings out a little, showing a glimpse of that devastating colouration.

"No, wait a minute!", T'rad flailed as Z'dayi mentioned his name. Oh great, they got him. It was too late now. The girls were headed their way.
Mine. Xyruth suggests you do like his mine, Ez'ki, and feign. T'rad looked back, perplexed, at his dragonet. Feign? For someone who seemed to gather up so much knowledge, he sounded clueless. He turned back around to catch Ez'ki's comment. Hm, he did sound rather smooth. But T'rad only grew embarrassed and threw his arms to rest behind his head as he laughed akwardly. "Well. That can't be all true", he said, chuckling. Those guys worked fast, already they were after those girls and they seemed just as eager.
"So, I've already been introduced but this is my blue Paleoth. The big, dark, bulky one", he introduced his blue to the girls, already giving off that his dragon was his pride and joy as would be the case with any dragonrider. Paleoth simply gave a proud stance as he was introduced. Xyruth, I don't think mine is going for that feign. He seems rather clueless and out of his element.
Poor T'rad, he wasn't a natural at this like the others so it would seem the guys may get their pick. Though it seems Z'dayi had already gotten his. T'rad flinched mentally, noting that he would bang his head against a wall when this was all said and done and they were back in the weyrling barracks.

How many times had Z'dayi been in this position? Oy, too many to count!
The bronzeling had thrust T'rad to the fore and now, being a good wingmate, fell back a touch. His arms crossed over his chest, his eyes bright on the girlies, he just stood there as if him looking good could help make the bluerider look better-- like T'rad could somehow become sexy-by-proxy. As Ez'ki clearly had the introductions under way, he only added in a mild, "Who's the little one?" And his eyebrows shot up questioningly at Jala's reticence, a little less lascivious to this girl than the other three.
Then-- "You ladies just out for a stroll to nowhere or... headed somewhere in particular?" As in, 'wherever it is, maybe we gents could accompany you there.'

Irina smiled beguiling at the three, but her attention was focused upon the red-haired lad who seemed to be effortless at the game they played now. She sidled close to him, head tilted with that same smile upon her lips. She flicked a glance at his companions and smirked.
"Ez'ki, T'rad and Z'dayi. Blue, blue and bronze. Mmm. What a lovely little group." She turned back to the bluerider before her, pouting prettily as she reached out, finger slowly drawing up and down his chest. So what if she was laying it on a bit thick? She'd missed this bit of nature and the weyrlings were now only feeling confident enough to crawl out of their holes. Her eyes held his as she flipped hair behind her head. "Naught but a weyrling of Xyruth? Oh, surely you've been told how handsome and smooth you are?"
At Z'dayi's question, she glanced over at him again and smiled her little smile. She'd had great success in it. "That's Jala and Dsura," she said, pointing each of the other girls out. "We were out for a stroll, actually," she murmured, still watching Ez'ki. "What were you lads up to?"

Dsura smirked, gave a swift disapproving cough, Irina was obviously oblivious to a word she had said, “I’ve already told them of my name Irina, Z’dayi,” The word pronounced with a fruitful sound, “asked after Jala, not I as well.” She pointed out, rolling her eyes comically in T’rad’s direction. “Forgive her,” she inclined her head in Irina’s direction, ‘girl with a one track mind’ was Irina, but she would say that a little more eloquently for these gents, “She’s just a silly wherry headed girl, she’s easily distracted,” Her tone hushed, playful though it was, she was trying to avoid Irina hearing this, winking up at Z’dayi. A smile grew on her features.
Jala stepped out from behind them, timid grin brightening her face for a moment, “As Irina has said, I’m Jala.” She pursed her lips through a lack of knowing what to say, and a display of her nerves. She gave a tentative smile once more, “We work down in the kitchens, Irina wanted to go to the lake for a swim.” She confessed brightly to the boys. Her eyes alit from the excitement of the swim that was to come. Dsura looked down at the girl for a moment, shook her head, Jala didn’t know what she’d just let herself in for by telling them that.
::Ez’ki::
His eyes strayed from her face, watched her fingers stroll up his chest, toying where cloth left way to skin. His skin prickled electrically as her touch passed over him. Shards, but for a kitchen girl she wasn’t bad looking. His eyes gleamed with inappropriate intent, “mmm.” His tone low and thick, pleasure hummed through it, along with indecision, “Perhaps once or twice,” Ez’ki’s head tilted a little and lowered his chin, so his eyes met hers, he began to lift his hand to her cheek, though it barely left his side before Z’dayi broke his flow, he gave a scornful glance in his bronze-rider friends general direction as Irina’s attention shifted for a moment. Shards but these two had some learning to do. He would have thought – that Z’dayi wouldn’t be too far from his own standards, but the bronze weyrling was somewhat of a letdown unfortunately, oh well, he could school them both by example. As J’fel had so rightly told them in that shardingly boring lesson.
But Irina’s attentions returned to his swiftly enough, he looked over to the other two boys, making sure that they knew not to go correcting him and telling these lovely ladies their real intentions, for it would make them sound poor, again, Ez’ki turned on the charm, pleading the poormouth, “alas, but we weyrlings have been so consumed by chores that we have all but forgotten what to do with the precious little free time we are gifted.” He held a hand out to take hers, “I was hoping we might chance upon company who could suggest a good thing or two.” The little one, recently named, Jala was chirping up now, swimming. “That sounds like somewhere I certainly wouldn’t mind joining you for.” He looked at the others, “T’rad, Z’dayi?” asking their opinions on the matter, but he was going swimming now with or without them.
Xyruth compained to the mind of his bonded, But you said you’d give me a bath later. We’ll bathe you in the lake, you can swim in there with us, you’re not too big yet anyway. But you’ll get distracted, The blue huffed rebelliously as he looked over at Irina. Ez’ki inwardly laughed, A passing fancy Xyruth, nothing more. Well asisde from that, T’rad seems to be having more problems with these creatures than you, and his seems to think that he cannot feign as good as you. I do not Feign! You do so. Not. Whether you do or you do not, which you do, can you suggest something to help? Perhaps. Ez’ki paused, he wasn’t used to trying to ‘teach’ it came so naturally to him he didn’t feel it was something you could learn, Perhaps he should try being a little more talkative to start. Choose one of them to talk to, though don’t suggest Irina to him, I think she’s have him tied in knots in seconds. Xyruth chirruped happily, then relayed the message faithfully to Paleoth.

Irina would have sent Dsura a venemous look. So, she wasn't really paying attention to any other conversations sprouting up. Did she blame her? But really, there was a better tack to take than saying she was wherry-headed. That was not at all the impression she'd been trying to make. Sigh. Oh well. He didn't seem to mind. He didn't seem to mind at all.
He was falling into it like a duck to water. Ahh, so she had a worthy companion here. That just made it perfect. Irina felt her smile widening, placing her hand in his. Oh yes. Definitely. Her other hand sneaked up, fingers tangling within those shockingly red locks of his, twining them about her digits.
"Well, I don't think I'd mind it if you three came and joined us." She was taking her lead here and if Jala and Dsura did not like it, they'd deal with it. They could go elsewhere. Irina was going to enjoy her fun here. "I think we'd all have a great time." The words in themselves were innocent, but the look and smile she bestowed upon her bluerider were far from it. Fun indeed. She couldn't resist but brushing against him slightly, a touch of body to body. "Don't you agree, girls?"

Paleoth nudged the other blue in appreciation and spoke to his bonded. T'rad, perhaps you should speak to one of them specifically and hold conversation. Xyruth's suggests this. Maybe you can learn the feign soon enough.
T'rad looked over to his blue, wanting to shake his head and sigh. Paleoth could be so clueless about things, but then again so could T'rad. He just wasn't as aware of this.
One of them had looked in his direction, perhaps he'd aim at her. "So...", T'rad wanted to choke on that awkward pause he let hang, but he continued, "Dsura was it? You were raised at the weyr? I'm a weyrbrat myself, so maybe we saw each other around if so." Well, it was certainly not the worst conversation starter, but there could have been better. If nothing else, conversation could continue between the two specifically.
You can tell yours that he went with the advice. I'm hoping he learns this feign soon. Paleoth spoke to Xyruth. The blue hoped there was more tips to give to his rider. Oh how he enjoyed coaching him. Paleoth was oblivious to the intentions and feelings of what the situation presented, but he was entertained none the less. This was ever apparant in his tail swishing back and forth.

((Sorry this is so delayed, guys! I must have missed a few posts in here somehow. XD))
"Terrible thing to admin," began Z'dayi with an overdose of chagrin, with more aw-shucks in his tone that could possibly be necessary. "But I can't swim. I'll watch y'all from the shoreline though, and maybe someone'll stay behind and keep me company?" The look he shot around went to the girls, notably, not to T'rad and Ez'ki. As if that part even needed to be said.
For all he gave off the look of a wolf eyeballing little-red-riding-hood, there was a jovial disinterest to his interactions. He didn't paw or play back, just watched Irina and Ez'ki a second with a smirk and a shake of his head. Then it was, of all things, the gentlemanly elbow he offered to Jala, his head cocked to indicate the lake shore. "Fine day for sitting out and getting some sun, idn'it?" Seeing as T'rad was likely to get eaten alive by Dsura and Ez'ki seemed to be handling himself admirably with Irinia, the bronzeling was content to play escort to the less forward of the trio, to smile all charm and ease at the girl.

Dsura smiled at T’rad, “Yes, I believe I’ve seen you around once or twice, you are familiar to me, I was only brought to the Weyr a few turns ago, and so I wasn’t strictly raised here.” She informed T’rad, “I don’t however remember what your name was before you impressed, T’rad?” She thought for a moment, repeating his name aloud as though questioning herself might prompt her memory. She didn’t usually remember the names of the younger boys, perhaps it was a fault but she generally had no need.
Jala smiled as the boys took kindly to her suggestion, it seemed everyone was looking forward to this, except for Z’dayi. She frowned as he said he would not swim, “Oh, I was so looking forward to swimming as well.” She pouted in a far too cute fashion, but realisation dawned, “Dsura!!” She exclaimed as she tugged on the taller girls arm, “Dsura, teach him to swim, like you taught me?” She beamed up at the eldest of the girls, Dsura laughed, “I can force no bronze rider to do something he doesn’t want to do Jala, I don’t mind teaching him, but I think it will have to wait a while, I don’t think it would be best to swim so soon after eating for me at least,”
Jala’s brows rose in concern, and disappointment, “But you’ve got to come swimming! You said you would.” “I know, but you want to swim, and Irina is going to, and they always say never to swim straight after eating, so I will keep our fearful bronze-rider company for a while I think, until my lunch settles at very least.” She turned her smile from Jala towards Z’dayi. Jala huffed, “Well, I’m sure T’rad won’t mind swimming with us eh Irina?” She skipped away from Dsura to Irina’s side, she was fifteen, but she was still mirthful, and carefree, not realising she was ignoring Z’dayi’s offer of his arm. “Let’s go already?” Jala seemed to be a bit more comfortable around them now, and was slowly becoming overcome by her excitement at having free time once more. “Come then.” Dsura smiled at the two boys, starting to lead off towards the lake.
::Ez’ki:: Shards but she was forward! But that just made the game even more exciting, after all – he who dared won. Ez’ki could dare, and would dare, especially with this one, she was a little blunter about her desires than Ez’ki – which said a lot. He let a smirk toy at his features as her hand caught his, and the other came to play with his hair. Ez lifted a hand to catch the one playing with his hair, as though stopping her from doing so, he’d leave that minor pleasure for later, girls seemed fascinated by his long hair, and he used it, he knew how to do that so very well. He gently coiled he long fingers under her hand, slowly lowered his face to her hand, pressing his lips to a gentle kiss, eyes never leaving hers for a second, “I believe it would be our pleasure, despite by cowardly companion not joining us for a swim.” He aimed a mildly amused come challenging look towards Z’dayi. I think that was T’rad’s effort. was that the best he could muster? Well perhaps? [/i]Ez’ki sighed softly, T’rad was far from being a natural at this, Tell him to stay calm, treat them for now anyway like they are not a female that he is interested in, but a friend. That shouldn’t be too hard. He’s charismatic enough to pull that off surely. Oh and tell him not to worry too much the lake will make things easier. Mine says to try and treat her like you aren’t interested, like she is a friend, then gradually move up to that... the lake will make it easier. [/color] The middle part wasn’t what his bonded had said but he knew that was what his bonded was aiming for, and Xyr was a little more interested in this game it was like strategy, and well his, seemed to be all over the game, in chess, his bonded would have been an equivalent of the queen, not in gender but ability, he could roam the board in whichever way he wanted. Z’dayi, it seemed would be the runner one, was it a knight? The one that moved in an awkward pattern, but was the most unincorporated into the opponents plans. T’rad was a pawn, his movement and style was limited, but when he took he took oddly, and if he reached the other side of the board, he would claim back any piece he wanted. Xyr could see them clearly. Each unique, each useful, and none to be underestimated. An odd trio they were.
Ez’ki turned his attentions back to Irina, her body brushed against his, shards but he felt too green doing this! Two months was a hell of a long time to be out of this game, well such a tactile game leastways. He could feel his pulse rise a little, but he got it back in check soon enough. He smiled graciously, the two girls had accepted, T’rad and Z’dayi were coming along, and well, that was that settled. A coy smile to his counterpart, he slipped his hand from her and elongated the distance between them. “We’d better get a move on” He looked over at the lads, then to Jala, and finally to Irina, the look she had given him intended something much more... sinister. He smirked, shards but he’d caught a right one here! He might have to keep a track on this one, by the shell of the first egg why did Xyruth have to still be so young! Shard it. If he had another two months, or three, he’d be loose of this chastity belt, and he’d be free to do what he wanted. And shard but he did. Want it that was. He could think of nothing more he wanted to do at that moment, than to take this girl up on her offers. He was pretty sure he could string her along long enough, keep her interested, this game was going to have to be a lot slower.
Ez’ki set off towards the lake, jogging a few steps to catch up to Dsura. He turned towards Irina winked, as he walked a few steps backwards before righting his path once more.

"Ah. I was formally Torad", T'rad explained, giving his name before impression. Paleoth, however, interrupted him with Xyruth's thought. Xyruth's says to treat her like another friend, like you aren't interested and work your way up. The lake will make it easier. T'rad simply nodded in response, but the nod simply looked like he was confirming his former name physically. However, Paleoth knew this was directed to him.
"I'm ready for a swim. A nice, cool dip in the lake would be a great way to relax on a day with no chores", T'rad answered as he rubbed his shoulder, as if it were sore from the amount of chores he did. He was quick to follow Dsura, catching up to her and nearly walking side by side, if not just a hair behind her.
T'rad is taking the advice. I think he's doing a bit better than before. He feels a little less awkward. Perhaps soon he will learn this feign. Paleoth explained to Xyruth. Paleoth was all too curious about the feign move and how T'rad would use it. The bulk of a blue followed behind T'rad, eyeing him curiously.

A fair few people would buck at being termed "fearful bronzerider," but it rolled of Z'dayi like water off a duck's back. The man never even batted a lash at the pseudo-endearment, if anything only deepening that dimpled smile while his arm went unattached. Seamlessly, he swung it around so his hands were clasped in the small of his back, and he fell to the rear of this pretty-little-party of layabouts, the laziness of his steps a nice post script to their trek across the bowl.
To them both, Dsura and Ez'ki, he could only shrug and respond to taunts of cowardice with a blithe carelessness: "Ain't discretion supposed to be the better part of valor? I'd swear I heard that somewhere..." He trailed off as if to muse over this-- or was it simply to watch the whole cluster of young people, himself included, make their merry march toward the lakeshore, all full of youth and flirtation and silliness.
A whistle kept him mellow company, tuneless, aimless, amused.

Irina was caught up in the frivolous and ancient dance she and the bluerider were entangled within. The words had changed, the steps may have as well, but the intentions and the affects always remained constant. It was one of the things that gave a person comfort in the world.
She found Ez'ki rather dashing, doubtfully harmless and handsome as sin. The winks, the smiles, the kiss to her hand were all furthering her expectations of such a pretty man. Yes, she'd have to wait what would seem an agonizing time, but she was sure-positive even- that the wait would be well worth it. Besides, there were many many things that could be done while one was still bonded with a young dragon.
When her suitor drew off to walk beside Dsura, Irina pouted prettily, her lashes fluttering as her breast heaved in a psuedo sigh of disappointment, the impressive array of wares there moving with such an action. She eyed Ez'ki with a gleam in her eye, before she was dropping back to the unattached bronzerider within their company. She heard his whistle and smile flashed, beaming in his direction with all the intention of flattery.
"Oh, you can whistle! Would you teach me? I'll teach you to swim if Dsura isn't up to it and you can teach me to whistle. Now, that's a fine plan, my dear bronzerider." If she purred at all on the last word of this little intention, it was hardly to be scoffed at. Most bronzers weren't as handsome, or young, as this fellow was. Irina looked to Ez'ki, flashing a delighted smile toward him as well as her fingers danced in a little wave.
