Here we are mid-hatching and it's time for another newsletter! We'd like to thank you all for all the wonderful scenes leading up to the hatching and of course, your awesome posts during the hatching itself. We'd like to congratulate the first few PC impressees: K'mar, J'sen and Ez'ki. Keep an eye on the hatching thread - there's more new riders to come! Remember, girls will not be impressing greens in the hatching thread, but in plot progression to follow soon after the hatching. We promise your patience will pay off! ;)
We'd also like to welcome all of our new members: Aleda, anhydrous, Hockey, Laughing Dove, Foxglove and Liathe. We're looking forward to the threads, characters and RP you create! :)
Lately at Tempus Fugit
We'd like to congratulate you all on the general quality of posts we're seeing. We're honored to have what we think are some of the best players in the genre playing at TF, and excited to see what the future holds! We want to thank you all especially for your patience as we develop the unique features of our setting, such as the Caminar, and of our game structure, like plot production and RP style.
We welcome questions in PM to 'admin', to TR or OM. :) Don't forget the 'Spoilers' board, either - unless you're trying to! ;)

Of course, all eyes are on Telgar's hatching sands as A Moment in Time unfolds with the hatching of Pelegaoth's clutch!
Prior to the hatching:
Has J'fel lost his mind? He's gathered a select group of riders and Caminar and charged them with a task of unbelievable scale - and apparently great secrecy. Check out The Assignment to see the madness in action.
The Mending of Robes, Carting Candidates Around and To Touch, Perchance to Dream spotlight candidate life.
In Supplies, Aleda finds out how Th'ane has changed.
About two weeks before the hatching, The Gather Begins and The Bauble Cart show off Caminar-Weyr culture clash.
Plus, three Flashbacks are currently being presented. It's great to see all of this development of inter-character connections!
Curiousity, where Salina and Jensen meet;
A Chance Meeting of Selvagem and Ezieki; and
Nepotism, in which I'dalyn is destined for greatness. Or something. ;)
Thread Ideas
As always, check out the Start a Thread section of the newsbox on the main page for some thread ideas! We also suggest:
- Caminar conversations about what to do to defend themselves in the eyes of the Weyr and the Holds against the charges leveled against them.
- Weyrfolk of any kind coming up with schemes to 'assist' with the far-too-slow investigation the Weyr's upper ranks are supposedly conducting regarding the Caminar and the missing children.
- If your character's not at the hatching (or on 'assignment' per J'fel!) where is s/he? Start a thread to show that moment in his or her life - and maybe to share it with others!
Characters We'd Like To See
The 'characters currently accepted' document in the 'character profiles' section lists all the types of characters available right now, but here are some specific ideas:
- Posted crafters, including healers and harpers, especially any who've got 'missing children' in their backgrounds!
- Wingleaders and 'seconds, up to three more of each

- See what comes of the assignment! Will Pern be saved from plague again?
- Girls impressed to green dragons! We promise! ;)
