Name: Kaim
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Rank: Caminar
Physical Description:
Kaim has grown to be on the 'tall' side of the male height spectrum. In nineteen turns he has reached a height of 6'2", and there is still room and time for a little more growth to occur. He is a willowy boy, lacking any definitive muscles in his arms and upper body. His legs are more muscular, thanks to the amount of walking and traveling he does. Kaim's hair is as dark a brown that can be found as to be black and sits in a mess on the top of his head for the best part. The hair does tend to conceal the fact that Kaim has quite a distinctive widows peak, not that it matters to him, much.
Kaim's eyes are a distinctive feature of his, by Caminar standards at least for they are bright green in colour. It appears there were some recessive genes kicking around somewhere. This could be the reason, whether consciously or subconsciously, that he has a tendency to where green clothes, blue too is also a common colour for him to wear. The shirts that he wears tend to be more flamboyantly decorated than the more practical shirts most of the other Caminar tended to wear.
Personality:
Outgoing is one way to describe Kaim, but it most certainly not the only way. Due to the fact that he one of Caminar's storytellers and performers, an entertainer to term it loosely, it would be hard for him to anything other. Kaim is quick to laugh with an easy smile. He also possess a relaxed air and a blasé manner regarding the trivial concerns of everyday life.
With more major troubles, Kaim acts no differently but the way his mind reacts is different. He shrugs off the trivial and thinks deeply about the major. He is quick and intelligent, level-headed too and thus spends many hours thinking about the big issues, the different actions different people might take and their possible outcomes. Kaim has spent much time talking with his father and the elders of the Caminar about issues of the days ever since he was young. Initially he would listen intently and has since developed a mature view of the world and style of debate and argument.
While he is easily more vocal than his friend, Jansen, yet not as outspoken about the plantado as him. On the whole, he doesn't give them a second thought nor does he care about what they think about the Caminar.
As mentioned before, he is both outgoing and a thinker. Most of his actions are thought out before hand and are fairly controlled. This is especially true when they are at the Holds and Halls and there are many people around, even though it may not seem like it. Though he does let loose a lot more are specific people, his family, his Sara and Jansen for example. He is more prone to doing silly things (with Jansen at least) and just saying what ever comes to his mind.
Background:
Kaim is the second son in his family, with both an older and younger brother. Kaim was never one who really got into trouble of fights, usually managing to talk himself out of the little trouble he did get in. His life has been largely unremarkable by most standards. He grew up, had the occasional fights with his elder brother (they do not always get on terribly well, more so when they were young), traveled, learned his trade and performed. Before his voice broke, he was one of the finest singers around (in his mind at least) but he rarely sings nowadays, not that he can't put out a decent tune anymore.
Kaim had the option to branch out and start his caravan at last turns gathering where he married a nice girl called Sara. Their marriage had be arranged for turns. Both parties were extremely fond of the other and thus were far more than happy to wed. They opted last turn to keep traveling with Kaim's family. This was so that he could still participate in the group dances and plays that they did from time to time. That was the downside of being a performer on your own, you had to perform on your own. So they traveled hither and thither, their caravan being one of the larger of the Caminar with around 20 members. While they had no direct trouble with any of the holders, they heard stories from both the holders and from passing Caminar about what was going on. They arrived at the Weyr not long ago, just a couple of days before the gather.
Note: I do not plan to use him terribly much at present but I liked him enough to make him. I can see him being more prominent later on perhaps. I'm not sure about his personality. Well, that's a lie, I'm sure about it in my head but I'm not sure if I got it down quite right. I have him so perfectly in my head. So yeah, he'll probably be knocking around a little for a while.
