Tempus Fugit permits players to transfer ownership/playership of characters from one player to another. However, the staff of Tempus Fugit will not manage such adoptions; it's up to the player that owns the character to find a new player for that character (using the Request board if desired) and complete the adoption. Appropriate notes should be made in the character's profile thread.
When it is left to staff to dispose of unwanted characters the following rules apply:
- Idle characters of active players will be archived or, by request, treated as NPCs.
- Characters of departing or idle players will be archived.
Players may, however, design characters for the specific purpose of adoption; such purpose should be noted in the profile when the application is made and, upon approval, such characters will be posted to the adoptable NPC board.
