Name: Silvio
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Rank: None
Physical Description
Of slightly above-average height and slender build, with a head of dark hair and the swarthy coloring of his people, Silvio is a rather attractive young Caminar, with bold features and an easy way of speaking. He bears a strong resemblance to his older sister Aleda, the family blood shared very evident between the two. One striking difference is the color of his eyes, which are lighter, hazel with a wash of green in the center, rather attention-grabbing amongst the Caminar. He's a bit of a sharp dresser favoring the well-tailored wares of his father, usually in sharply contrasting colors that suit his dark complexion.
Personality
Light-hearted, slickly charming, a bit of a salesman, Silvio fits pretty well into the stereotype that many plantado have of Caminar. He's not much of a deep thinker, though he's clever enough and is very mindful of his honor and his family's honor. When the chips are down he'd never hesitate to back a fellow Caminar against everyone else. Loyal to family and people, once he sorts out whether or not he wants to stay with his family, or break away to make his own caravan, he'll still have a deep-seated sense of responsibility towards both. He's still drifting a little, indecisive about his future and his place in the world other than 'with the Caminar'.
Background
Born into a large family, Silvio arrived right after Aleda and drew a lot of attention away from her, first by being a boy, second just by being himself. He's the fifth of nine children and in some ways, a typically 'middle' son, who is still trying to sort out what he wants to do with himself. He and Aleda are fairly close, being so close in age and share light-heartedness and a wandering eye. If anyone in the family is actually aware of just how much Aleda tends to step out, it's Silvio, but since he's often doing the same, he never says a word.
Silvio is also close to his younger brother Milo. There's four turns between them, but they get tossed onto chores together a lot and have grown up in the typical way of boys close in age like that, tussling and wrestling but having each others' backs always.
Good with his hands, Silvio is still trying out different things, both the tailoring his father engages in as a trade, jewelry-making and wood-working. He's decent enough at all, but not yet master of any. He needs to decide soon though, because like his sister his father is pulling strings to marry his son off which is also something Silvio isn't sure he's ready for. Unlike Aleda though, he doesn't fight it tooth and nail, just goes with the flow, trusting that it'll work itself out in the end.
Silvio isn't too sure about this whole camp out at the Weyr thing. It's much to rooted for him and it makes him restless. He doesn't want to stay long but also recognizes that it's necessary given the number of attacks on Caminar since all those kids started going missing.
