Ez’ki couldn’t help but warm to her and her determination, “Good, I am glad to hear neither Faranth nor rabid wherry will deter you from the sands on the next clutch. I hope you do well for yourself.” He mused. He just hoped she too didn’t end up falling arse over tit for the Weyrleader. What did that guy have anyway? Sure he was alright looking, charm was present, but he was short, egotistical and well... narrow minded as far as Ez’ki had heard, but that was neither here nor there at this moment in time.
He rolled his eyes as she mentioned his bonded. “Xyruth? I am sure he would adore meeting you too, however I shall remain at peace whilst he remains asleep if you do not mind.” He smiled, looking at her remarkably wet form. “He is gorgeous, but what else could be expected of a creature perfect enough to be bonded to me.” He gave a jesting grin, though he did not say it overly falsely. “He’s a handsome creature that is for sure, he’s like no blue I’ve ever heard of, or seen.” He told her, “He has these wings... I mean he’s pretty large for a blue dragon, slim and sharp too, but his wings... when he flared them the first time, I thought the colours were going to scorch an impression within my irises! There’s all shades of blues, violets and whites, in a violent streaked pattern that can only be described as magnificently abstract.” He shook his head, it was like trying to explain why a dull-glow was dull, it just was.
He smiled again, gently, added a reminder to her as he felt the wind brush past him, cooling with the colours of the evening setting in slowly. “You’ll catch your death of you sit in that water any longer.”

"There we go, male pride... But he does sound rather breath-taking. I'll definitely enjoy meeting him one day."
The first comment went hand in hand with a soft giggle, a sign that the female was only teasing Ez'ki lightly -- and she meant no harm with her comment. The next was truthful, by the male's description she could already have a vague idea of what Xyruth would look like... Though she was sure the real deal would blow her mind away anyway.
“You’ll catch your death of you sit in that water any longer.” "Hrmm... I suppose you are right... Turn, that way. And I better not catch you peeking."
She made it plain and simple, pointing her finger at the opposite direction of where she and her clothes lied. Waiting only a minute to give him time to turn Erabel exited the lake, walking over to the pile of dried clothe and a large piece of cloth. Drying herself as best as she could she then dressed, as quick as she could, before looking at Ez'ki.
"Alright, you can turn again now."

“Xyruth? Certainly he is breath taking, though he leaves you a little winded too after that.” He smirked, “He’s over enthusiastic to say the very least. Though, he is as beautiful as any dragon can be, and yes, my pride is something he shares – I’d guess.” Judging by the way the blue kept himself pristine, well – rather he forced Ez’ki to make him pristine, it wasn’t like the creature would allow his hide to be marred. He was rather vain, even if he didn’t show it too prominently.
He laughed at her comment, peek? Why would he? His imagination was vivid enough when he needed it. Besides, he had been forced into celibacy as his dragon was growing, apparently it could be quite a scarring event for the little creature. He’d wait, but he’d make sure there was something to quench his thirst, after his dry period. He turned away, he may be a devilish male, but he was a gentleman, when he wanted to be.
She permitted him to turn back, he couldn’t resist the line that came to mind, but he refused himself its use, it would be just a little too close to the mark for someone who he had barely met. “Thanks, though I’m not to certain why I had to turn away, surely the weyr is a free place, and I am allowed to let my eyes look upon what they deem worthy now, surely?” He gave her a grin, laced with devilment, cad-like insinuations and pure amusement at his own forwardness.

His comment caused half a smile to light her lips lightly, the female shaking her head before chocolate eyes fixed on the features of Ez'ki's face. "Very funny, weyrling. However, though you do have the freedom to look whereever you deem it worthy -- I believe I am in all rights to restrict your gaze from my body if I so choose." A wink was given, just to sow she wasn't trully scolding him. Folding the wet cloth and dirty clothes in a small little bundle she turned her gaze to the male, before tilting it lightly to one side.
"Well, any ideas as to something to do? Or should we call it a day and say our goodbyes?"

Ez’ki’s brows furrowed, “Goodbyes? Why would we do such a thing when the evening is this fresh, must we do something to keep us entertained? I had no plans for this night save for that exact plan.” He spoke softly, his eyes wavering from her to some distance where he could only imagine. He gave a soft sigh, “I do not intend to waste my free time doing anything.” Such an odd concept, most people would utilise their free time to get done something of importance, but no, not for Ez’ki, his free time was for nothing but freedom. And that was the way he would keep it. Freedom in actual fact; from people, freedom from chores, from learning, from rules and regulations that were strictly placed upon him now he was a future rider of the Weyr.
“Come, you’ve worked all day, the twilight time is for you to do nothing, though don’t tell you’re headwoman I put you up to this, else I’m in for an ear bashing from I’dalyn.” He warned, a veritable smile on his features, he didn’t care if he was scorned for this, that or the other; there was little they could do for him now. After all, he was chained to this place now whether he or they liked it or not.
He began to refer back to her fist comment, upon his gaze on her, “Mmm, you could, but there would be little point denying yourself a small pleasure now would there Erabel?” His charm was most certainly a cheeky variety. A lopsided grin given as his tawny eyes fixed upon her. He watched as she folded away the clothes, “Shards girl, just sit down. Would you now? You’re making me feel queasy from that continual work effort of yours.” He said as he leant back propping himself up now upon just his elbows.

((Crappy post.))
"Aye, aye. Nothing to worry about, Ez'ki, I won't tell the Headwoman a thing. Though if I start slacking around from now on, and she notices, she might just pinpoint out the cause either way. That woman has a sharp mind, after all."
A faint giggle accompanied her reply, the girl content to just listen and watch Ez'ki's body language for now. He had, she finally admited to herself, quite an amusing character. And there was a point in his words. Some rest and relaxation would not come unwelcomed by her. Shards, all chores and work had already gotten the best of her -- it was hard to remember the last time she actually used her time for nothing. Such concept seemed so ancient, so child-like.
She liked the idea.
Placing the folded bundle on a small rock Erabel took the liberty of lying down next to the male, head resting comfortably on one hand as the other lied in rest on top of her stomach. A content sigh was given, eyes closed, as she simply enjoyed the feeling of doing absolutely nothing -- save for relaxing.
"Mmm... It's been quite a while since the last time I acually used my free time to do nothing. It feels good."
Her eyes were now opened, focused on the sky and the clouds as they admired the vast variety of colors that tainted them. The transition between light and dark, the twilight, alays casted such beautiful shades upon the surroundings.

He sighed languidly, pleasurably, as he dropped back against the grass, staring blankly at the sky above, as though expectant of something, and yet of nothing. “Welcome to my world Erabel.” He tilted his head sideways to view her again, she looked more relaxed already, and that was quite an impressively quick transition. Most ‘busy’ people, like her, found it hard to come to a stop, unlike most ‘relaxed’ people, like himself.
“A woman’s mind is sharp?” He repeated, though ass a question, slightly mockingly more so humorously, he added, “I must have missed that, it’s something I’ve not come to see in any woman.” He smiled, his face turning skywards again, red hair lacing patterns against the emerald green of the grass beneath him.
His words became soft, “So, tell me what it’s like, you know, being here, in the Weyr, constantly.” He asked, his words softer than before, almost like a child asking about something new, his emotions were something he had to fight hard to control, and well at this moment, his reluctant-to-change mannerisms showing through. But he was far too relaxed to care what was thought of him. The clouds drifted past with a pensive lethargy that Ez’ki felt seeping through him, as he watched the white clouds trundle through the endless blue sky.
