Description
Taller than most at six foot two, A'wan towers over his weyrleader. He's lanky too, with hair perpetually in need of cutting, and possesses sparkling eyes and a smirky mouth useful for both charming the ladies and sassing the men.
Background
A'wan impressed alongside J'fel in the 95th turn. Though the two were not particularly close as weyrlings, like many of the men around the bronzerider's age from his class A'wan has found himself endeared to J'fel now that he's running the weyr. There are few positions for blueriders in the weyrleader's heavy wing, and that one of them was handed to such a young man just days after Pelegaoth's flight caused a great deal of complaint among more 'deserving' riders. J'fel realized the misstep quickly and hasn't repeated it; the rest of his 'cronies' moved into Blizzard ride larger dragons and the remaining small-dragon flanking/scout positions currently belong to older men.
A'wan has a much cooler temper than his friend C'vole, and far less taste for liquor - more than made up for by his hunger for the company of the opposite sex. Despite the suppositions about his relationship with C'vole, A'wan is as focused on getting laid as his weyrleader ever was; the color of his dragon just makes him far less notorious for it.
