Once he'd reached Kalpeth G'tet paused and looked over his shoulder. Aleda's ask for a ride home was not missed and so Kalpeth had to ask Will you mate with her at home then? It was nice out here until we were interrupted. Smothering a laugh and hoping he was far enough away to conceal a blush G'tet shook his head.
That's not happening, Kal. It wasn't like that. Shall we give the fair maiden a ride home? With Kalpeth's admittedly confused consent G'tet raised his voice. "We're at your service like always, fair Aleda. We shall take you wherever you desire."

Oblivious to that particular exchange, Aleda nodded a polite farewell to P'nset and finished tidying up her things as she moved to follow G'tet towards Kalpeth. She shot him a little amused look for the choked back laugh. "Did she say something funny again?" the sabedoria asked curiously "And thank you very much."

When Aleda came towards Kalpeth G’tet didn’t move from his spot, but waited since he would have to give her a hand up. “You are most welcome,” he tells Aleda with a grin. “And yes , she most definitely did.” He glanced towards where P’nset was to be sure the older man was not close enough to hear his lowered voice. “She, ah, asked if we were going to do back home what we did not do here. She gets an idea in her mind…” He trailed off and shrugged before offering the Caminar woman his hand so she might climb up first.

Aleda smiled and took the offered hand up, clambered aboard with relative grace and arranged her satchel across her lap. His confession made her chin duck downward and she laughed merrily. "She's very sweet, really," the sabedoria replied with a gentle pat of her hand to Kalpeth's hide, "looking out for you this way," she continued, deadpan and blinked faux-innocent eyelashes down at the greenrider.
She waited in turn for G'tet to climb up and for P'nset to be well out of earshot before she leaned in to murmur to him softly: "Would you /like/ to do back home what we did not do here?"

Not having expected passengers G’tet had to sort out everything and once done he patted Kalpeth as well. Aleda’s first comment made him laugh as he looked at the Caminar woman. “She is nothing but sweetness. She thinks you are a fine person and promises to remember you next time.” It was an empty promise, but he would never say so out loud and risk hurting the green’s feelings.
The other comment made by Aleda earned an entirely different kind of chuckle. He looked back and winked at her before shaking his head. “Best we keep it all business for now I think. Should we come out of this and you’re still of a mind we can talk again.” It was the safest course because while he did not think she would form any strong attachment to him he could not be sure he wouldn’t get a little sweet on her even once. Best to not let such emotions cloud the difficult mission ahead.

"Does she? Well, then I believe I should be honored?" Aleda queried for the first. His answer to the second only earned him a pat on the shoulder. "That was not necessarily an offer," the sabedoria said gently, letting fondness seep into her tone. "For now though, let's get back to the Weyr and see to what needs to be seen to."

For her words Aleda got a chuckle from G’tet before Kalpeth launched herself into the air. Over the noise of her wings he said, “I wasn’t plannin’ on trying anything today, miss. Just letting you know where I stand on the matter. You still want to we’ll discuss it over wine when we get back from this mission.” Once in the air they circled lazily around the landing zone once before Kalpeth headed for home to drop Aleda off in the bowl.
(OOC: Are we done with this? I have nothing more to add I think, but if you want a final post I am cool with that too, Al.)

Aleda's merry laughter echoed out into the air as Kalpeth lifted off. "I will hold you to that," she said simply and remained silent for the rest of the trip back to the Weyr.
