Name:
C'ririn
Gender:
Male
Age:
22
Rank:
Greenrider
Physical Description
C'ririn is not the most physically impressive of young men, being a tad on the short side and not having much visible muscle, but there is something both cheeky and defiant in his smirks and grins, and his silver-blue eyes are sharp. He has short (a couple of inches maybe) hair that seems impossible to keep in perfect order, of a fairly neutral light-brown color, with the odd blonde streak appearing during sunnier months. Normally pale skinned (though he does tan) and usually caught wearing the same sort of color scheme every day, he favours green and dark brown.
His typical outfit would be dark brown trousers with matching boots and gloves, a green tunic and maybe a darker green cloak or jacket over the top. He has also kept his apprentice uniform- A memento of his former life.
Personality
C'ririn is a very friendly, and sociable, being, who delights in conversing with others, be it idle prattle, a battle of wits or exchange of insults. He is definately a lively fellow, never capable of forcing himself into sitting still, even in serious moments. He simply oozes happiness and radiates fun, rarely taking anything (if anything at all) with true seriousness (he understand the need to be serious, but does not act it) and even when facing a dangerous or life-threatening situation cannot help but thingy his head and grin. He is constantly having a laugh, his jokes and teasings never hidden inside. It is quite hard to get him down or depress him, as you could probably imagine. His near constant optimism can rub off on others, making him good in a morale situation.
But he can be forget just how important things are, and he does tend to tease and laugh at people (whether they share the laugh with him or not) which often leads to unintentional hurt. Although he has good empathy and understanding skills, he can be too lazy to help other people (especially if they aren't friends) and at such times can seem even a little cold. He just doesn't seem to care sometimes, as if he doesn't want other peoples misery to drag his spirit down.
C'ririn is quite loyal to true friends, but it can be quite hard to tell with him whether someone is a frieand, a good friend or just a 'talking' buddy, and until you get to know him yourself, it can be even harder to understand why he is like he is.
Background
C'ririn was quite new to weyrlife as a candidate, having lived at Harper Hall for most of his life, as a fosterling who worked in the kitchens, then an Apprentice. He was quite the talented young chap, and due to both his personality and profession it was very unexpected visit by the search rider, whose blue had obviously seen something in him that could impress a dragon.
C'ririn was simply delighted at the chance to impress a dragon, though he also felt desperately torn at leaving his old friends and musical life behind him. Although he did leave, with hopes to become a candidate, he also gained a new ambition; to be a weyrsinger. At the mere age of fifteen he impressed at his first hatching, to his preacious Malath, a green that matched his personality near perfectly.
As a weyrling he tried his best to stay focused, but he was known as the trouble-maker. He couldn't help it! There just seemed to be so much to laugh about and chatter about, but when it came to Malath's health, he listened with a fiery intent. He was a very quick and natrual flyer, but it took him a little longer to 'master' betweening with his dragon, mostly due to his trouble-making holding him back and stopping him from enjoying the lessons, having to work theory. Still, they managed it, and much fun has come from the erratic pair ever since!

Dragon's Name:
Malath
Color:
Green
Age:
Seven
Size:
17ft
Physical Description:
Malath is quite an impressive green at 17 feet, but she isn't a bulky or compact dragon, rather whippy and with a large wing span that allows for many hilarious arial antics and speedy flights. Lacking in stamina and sheer power, she makes up for it with her intense agility and flexibility. She has a lucious dark green hide, a sort of pine-needle coloration, but is very solid coloured with only her wing membrane being a different shade, happening to be a more pastel color.
Personality:
Ask any rider or dragon and he or she will tell you the exact same thing; fiery, tempermental, moody. Practically a bi-polar ball of something that resembles a teenage hormone overload, except about ten times as friendy and sociable. A constant flirt, she always has her eyes on the biggest blue or attractive brown, and has enough wit to hold a good conversation. Very strongly opinionated and so fiercely loyal she can seem ignorant, the bond between rider and dragon seems to go beyond the simple bonding of the mind. They genuinely have developed a friendship so loving and tight it seems heart-breaking to be seperated for even a moment. She can be snappish with younger dragons or riders, and tends to always have something to say when talked down to by a higher ranked dragon. Oh, she certainly knows her place- Doesn't mean she likes it!
