Hey folks! It's newsletter time again. Hurray!
Lately at Tempus Fugit
What the heck happened on 11/15?! Well, most people would answer 'nothing.' Or nothing important, anyway. A few of the riders rumored to be out of the Weyr on J'fel's service, searching for the missing children, returned, bringing a couple of strangers back with them. There was some kind of kerfluff in the weyrling barracks - but is that really so strange? Only a few people think so.
Things at Telgar Weyr and surrounding area have been hopping. The weyrlings continue to grow with the little dragonets seen taking to the air for their first flights both manned and unmanned. More older riders have been seen going to the barracks to speak with the weyrlings, but why is Eideen one of them? Did H’gar really ask her to speak to his weyrlings?
The snow is on the mountains and all eyes turn to the Caminar. Will they be leaving soon? Will it take the bad luck that plagues some with it? Or is the bad luck related to the star that D’ray, Emeni, and Genet brought back from the mountains? It seems no one whose handled the star is safe. Does it spell doom for the weyrling class that Genet keeps the star with her in the barracks some nights?
Around the time the eggs on the hatching sands cracked there was another egg arriving in Telgar’s coverage. The Golden Egg opened their doors and riders and residents alike have flocked to the newest casino to try their hand at beating the house. Speaking of the Golden Egg what just happened there? So many conflicting stories right now.
Green Opheriath took to the skies. Greens seem to be rising earlier in the day and some grumble about that. Lothario Baristath was not seen in the skies giving chase. It must have been a decision on H’gar’s part to keep away from someone on his staff’s flight. Baristath was certainly unhappy with this turn of events.
S’lyn threw a welcome back gathering for G’tet and most of Sleet turned up in his weyr to celebrate and play cards. Even his surly wingsecond showed up with the harper artist on his arm. The two have been spending a lot of time together lately. Was this the ‘coming out’ of their relationship?
Invitations continue to go hither and yon within Telgar Weyr to attend one of J’fel’s gatherings. The people invited do not seem to have anything in common when they arrive, but most leave feeling more sure of the boy weyrleader’s ability to lead the Weyr. Riders and residents of all ranks seem to be waiting for an invitation of their own!

If you have an existing PC and would like to apply for one of these positions or would like to apply a new PC for one of these positions, please check out the Ranking Riders Available thread in Announcements and follow the instructions noted there. Nothing too onerous, I promise!
Also needed:
- Gamblers and folks who work at The Golden Egg
- Posted crafters, including healers and harpers
- A steward (with details about his work at the Weyr)
- Characters with 'missing children' in their backgrounds (siblings, neices/nephews, friends, etc.)
- Weyrfolk or Golden Egg workers of age to be candidates in an IC year's time or so...
