She was not seen too frequently outside the Golden Egg the blonde woman standing near a bronzerider in the open field before the casino. Normally she would be hurrying inside after catching a ride from whomever she had talked into giving her one. This cold winter morning found her bundled in a coat of white and grey fur left undone to show off the lavender sisal gown worn under it and conversing with the rider. Their words were too quiet to be overheard, but the conversation was quite animated.
Behind the couple the bronze belonging to the rider waited with patience as his rider argued with Jolan. When another dragon would appear he would greet him or her with few words. Despite the recent murder the casino was doing a booming business and as Jolan broke away from the rider to head for the inside she was not the only one with a pouch of marks seeking to add to what she already owned. As she neared the door the rider came after her and grabbed her arm to keep her from stepping inside just yet. “We’re not done yet,” he informed her as a few people paused to see what was going to happen.
