Tabletness!

I have been the proud owner of a Tablet since late Febuary. It hasn't been used since mid April as I haven't dared see if the laptop I'm currently using can handle it. Yet. Just thought I'd share some of the stuff I did do before =p (Tis all on this online art blog thing but I'll only link a couple of the decent pics.)

This was done with a tiney usb laptop mouse. I almost died.

First thing that I drew? A Firelizard

I like Phoenix. Dark Phoenix is win...

So yar, I needs more practice (lots when it comes to certain things) and if you're bored enough, well theres a bunch more stuff on there I haven't linked to =)

ooooh preeetty, further adding to my desperate desire to get a tablet. though it doesnt necessarily make me any good at 'art'
I only ever drew two things i was proud of - both rather recently... and both copies, not originals...

Heh Well a fair few bits of my stuff is copied, it helps to improve free hand though =)
But you should get a tablet! Mine wasn't that expensive, (around £60) and I have been falling further in love with it now I've started using it on Photoshop. It's pressure sensitive and it has a pressure sensitive 'rubber' at the end of my pen and it's just...wonderful <3

THIS is the picture that I am currently working on. It's no where near finished yet, but I'm almost done with the dragon (just need to do some highlighting - and there will be flame coming from the mouth, honest.)

The reason that I post this imcomplete picture is I want any and all criticism on the stuff I have so I can strive to improve it further. =) Well, I am also aware that the yellow bit looks stupid at present

nice! Though draggie seems to be missing the other side of his jaw?? perhaps? I do love the way you've done the dragon's scales though.
And maybe a little more shading on the dragon's gums, and a little bit more shading on the dragons brow *nods* I thihnk tkhat about it!!!

There will be flames of pretty flamey colours obscuring parts of the jaw. I have got a layer with a large orange blob for the fire at present but it looks silly.

*Nodnod* I wondered about the gums. *Makes notes* There will by highlighting from the fire on the brow which may negate more shading but it does need something, mmhmm, mhmmm. *Scribblescrible*
