Silvio kept moving swiftly across the Bowl, steering their steps not into the inner caverns but back towards the wagons and tents circled around fires. He held up a hand to his lips as they slipped between quiet, dark shapes. Much of the camp either slept or danced still by the fire, word perhaps having not traveled yet.
"Need to get some things," he said quietly to her as they drew up near a particular wagon. "Come on up?" he invited her a he slipped up the steps to Aleda's wagon, the campfire in the middle of the little circle dead though it still smoked a little.

Her hand ached, but it was not the one holding Silvio’s so she ignored it. Nothing felt broken anyway. It just felt like it had been stomped on and that had happened when she was a child so it was almost a familiar ache to her. Of course the adrenaline of the fight had not worn off yet either.
When directed to be quiet she was although she nearly giggled at the whole thing. Sneaking around was a lot of fun after all. When they reached the wagon she looked at it curiously. “Can I really?” she asked in an exaggerated whisper as she bounced with excitement. She’d never been in a Caminar wagon before of course. This was exciting. She didn’t promise to not touch anything not wanting to lie. Genet thought she would just try to behave.

"Wouldn't have invited you if I didn't mean it," Silvio replied still low-voiced and though he was tired and starting to come down off the fight high, he smiled over at Genet warmly. A moment later he was opening the door and leading the way inside. "This is my sister's wagon," he explained. "I've been ... sort of staying here. Like you have in G'tet's Weyr," he explained and moved towards where the numbweed pots were kept. "Stupid jaw aches," he informed Genet, drawing down a pot and turned to look over at her, eyes taking her in from head to toe.
"Are you all right Genet?"

Once inside Genet looked around and let her fingers trail over this or that most carefully. “Wow. This is kinda nice. Cozy. I wish I had my own space, but I’ll never get a room of my own. At least I got to borrow G’tet’s weyr for a bit.”
At the question of how she was she felt her hand ache again. “One of those idiots stepped on my hand. And my head hurts because the other moron kept grabbing my hair. What jerks! I am going to make them pay. Mark my words. When they least expect it they will be so sorry!” Genet didn’t carry grudges for long so things were not likely to escalate once more.
“Are you ok?” she asked then stepping closer to run her fingers with care over his jaw. “I am so sorry, Silvio. It was all my fault and now you’re hurt and I feel terrible.” The fun was wearing off now and could feel little slivers of guilt over the trouble she had caused. Even if it had not been her fault.

"Aleda does have a nice wagon," Silvio agreed, unscrewing the lid on that pot,. "Your hand?" Concern creased his features and he held out his own, knuckles bruised and a little roughed up from punching. Hazel eyes lifted to hazel and he set the pot down, mirrored the lift of her hand, though his slipped through her hair gently. "I'm fine. More annoyed than hurt. I'll have a pretty mark on my face and it'll fade in time."
His head shook at her apology and his hand curled around the back of her neck warmly. "It's not your fault, Genet. They were just being stupid. It happens. This isn't -- this isnt the worst I've had to face." His forehead dipped down towards hers to bump lightly there then he leaned in just a little more, clearly intending to kiss her.

“Oh, your poor face,” Genet teases with a grin. “I don’t know if I want to be with you if you’re going to have some ugly bruise. I only liked you for your pretty face.” Her feet shuffle forward a bit so her boots touch his. “I suppose if I only see you in the dark,” she continues with a quiet laugh.
“G’tet taught me to hit, but he never said it would hurt so bad.” Clearly he was a bad brother for not delivering full disclosure about it. Those thoughts could wait since there was a kiss on the horizon. One of the few things guaranteed to get her to be quiet she slipped her arms around him and whispered before their lips met, “If they’d really hurt you I would have made them pay.”

"Best to keep the lights very low then," Silvio replied, arms tightening around her as she leaned into him in turn. "And just my face, is it? Nothing else about me?" he teased back, eyes twinkling faintly. Her further words wrinkled his brow a little and he nods. "Punching isn't really something you do lightly." His lips brushed her just gently at first. "I know you would've, Genet," he murmured back before making that kiss far from innocent.
He broke for breath and cleared his throat. "Should get some of Aleda's salves on the damage before we get too distracted," Silvio said lowly and looked over towards the door. "It ... has a latch."

It remained a mystery to Genet even now how he could take her breath away. She had never thought herself the sort to get that caught up in a man. At least for any length of time. In the past it only took a few kisses or walks for Genet to get bored of some boy or other at the hold. But it had been months now and she still looked forward to seeing him even if it was just a glimpse across the bowl.
Which is why when the kiss ended she had to struggle to catch her brain up to what he was saying. “Not just your face,” she teased as she pulled back to break contact with him. “But if I showed you what else we’d never tend to your wounds, poor baby.” She looked over her shoulder at the door and then back at Silvio. “Is it safe? I mean, what if someone comes looking for you?” The added chance of discovery was exciting for her, but it was his family and he might feel differently.

Silvio hadn't been a man inclined to commitment or constancy before. Yet here he was, wanting to be. He laughed though at her tease, drew his hands down her arms lightly. "Or yours," he countered, eyes bright, face just a little flushed.
Maybe it was the just-left fight that made him reckless but Silvio only shrugged. "They're not going to beat us up even if we're found. My father will lecture and shout. My mother will be disappointed. My brother will tell me I'm crazy, but look the other way. His lips pressed to her forehead lightly and he moved to the door, threw the latch tight-closed and pushed the chair in front of the knob.
His retreat back to Genet involved the application of a salve from another pot to her hand, his fingers massaging firmly. "I hope it's not broken," he murmured, "but I'm not sure how to tell." Then he looked up at her, eyes intent on her face. "Smear up that bump on my jaw? I can feel it swelling up, but I'm not sure how far the damage goes."

If he was not going to worry then she was not going to worry. She didn’t worry well anyway. Even her fears for G’tet were something now that was just there and not the tight panic in her chest it had been at first. “Well, I’m willing to take my chances then,” she said with a laugh as she watched the latching and blocking of the door. “I hope your sister won’t mind us borrowing her wagon.” No, she didn’t really care but it was most polite to think of it.
Her fingers wiggled before he applied the salve and then after. “Not broken,” she assured him with a bright grin. “Been stepped on before. Just gonna ache a bit and swell maybe and I’ll hurt doing chores tomorrow, but would rather hurt than have the headwoman hear about my involvement.” At least on the side she’d chosen. If she’d been beating up Caminar then it’s likely Ramla would have appreciated what she did.
“Your jaw?” she whispered with a heated look at him. “Is that the only place that hurts? To be safe I should probably give you a thorough checking out.” But work before play so she touched his jaw lightly while tending it trying not to hurt him all over. “Tell me how your day was? Before it got exciting with me.”

"Somehow, I really don't think Aleda will care much," Silvio said thoughtfully, then smiled at Genet. "That stuff should help take the edge off any bruises if you /do/ get any," he noted in his best imitation of his sister's professional manner, then laughed at himself.
He leaned into her touch to his face a little though both arms dropped to her waist to haul her closer to him. "I definitely need a thorough going over," he answered, deadpan. A little shrug though about his day as she tended to the bruising along his jawline. "Long. I've been doing a lot of stone-cutting now. Some of it is fussy work that needs a lot of concentration. I got water for the camp, spent most of the day cutting."

“Your day sounds as boring as mine,” Genet said with a quiet laugh as she gave his jaw one last brush of her fingers. “I was doing laundry today. The last big wash of linens before winter makes it impossible to hang them out in the fresh air.” Hardly fun and her mind had wandered repeatedly throughout the day. “At least you got to be around pretty things. Linens are so not pretty.”
Interest in the day before now was waning and Genet leaned in to kiss the tip of Silvio’s nose with a quiet laugh. “Ok, then,” she says as she leans back and puts on her serious face. “Just tell me where it hurts now and I’ll make it all better.” The serious face needs some work. As does the supposed serious tone because both are more warm and flirty than anything else.

"A little. I'm looking forward to being good enough to actually make pieces I can sell, that people will enjoy," Silvio said slowly, thoughtfully. "It's not the most thrilling way to get there, but it's a step," he continued with a long exhale. "Sounds like we both had long days then," he murmured to her, head dropping down lower, turning towards her ear.
"Sabedoria, it hurts /all/ over," Silvio answered, teasing rife in his voice as his arms tightened around Genet and he tugged gently to lead her back to the low bench-bed at the back of the wagon to tangle up the brightly colored pillows and blankets and commute the tension and anxiety of the fight with passion.

“I can’t wait to see your stuff. I bet next turn you’ll have me drooling.” Genet tried to think positive thoughts about the following turn. Maybe he would come back. Maybe he would still care about he. Maybe he would even remember her. She wondered if she’d be forgotten no matter what he said. But all those worries flew the way of others. There were more important things to focus on right now.
Later she squirmed around to get comfortable so she might lie on her back and stare up at the wagon. “I hope that helped,” she murmured with a merry laugh. “If not we’ll have to try another treatment soon. I am dedicated to your full recovery.” There was a pause as she caught up his hand to kiss his palm. “No matter how long it takes or what I have to do.”

"Can't wait to show you," Silvio did reply before things got very heated.
Later, he untangled his legs from the covers and slipped an arm around her waist loosely. "Mm, a little, you know," he teased her for her laughter and dropped a kiss to her shoulder. "Full recovery? Might take /several/ more treatments like that," the Caminar answered in a voice both teasing and inviting all at once.
Silvio's thumb brushed the arch of her lip as she kissed his palm and he smiled down at her. "Seems we're both pretty determined about that, Genet. Drunken riders just can't get us down." Still his face became more serious and he cleared his throat. "It's ... because of nights like tonight that we came in the first place. There were ... much, much worse things out there on the road this spring."
